On March 28, 2009 Global Chief Executive Officer of RAK Group and Chairman of RAK Pharmaceuticals Dr. Khater Massaad visited its newly built state –of the- art pharma plant with best in class facilities and equipments in Sreepur, Gazipur. Mr. Abdallah Massaad, Asstt. Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chukri Massaad, GM of RAK Ceramic Worldwide, Mr. SAK Ekramuzzaman, Managing Director, RAK Pharma & Mr. Amir Hossain, Director, RAK Pharma were also along with him.

Mr. AHM Zaker, CEO of RAK Pharma welcomed the Chairman on arrival and presented the facts & figures of the facility before him. The Chairman formally inducted the plant operations which will start production by April, 2009. In a meeting with the top officials of the company, Dr. Khater Massaad stressed on the quality and ethical practices in the business. The Chairman reiterated that ‘RAK is a symbol of quality worldwide and at no stage of business process, quality should be compromised at all. Moreover, all employees should develop the passion to excel in roles and responsibilities by benchmarking to still higher levels of performance.’

Mr. SAK Ekramuzzaman, MD thanked the Chairman for his visit to the company and hoped for his continuing support to establish RAK Pharma as one of the leading pharmaceutical company.

The Chairman formally unveiled the inaugural plaque of RAK Pharmacutical facilities- the new venture of RAK Group and planted a sapling to start the plantation program. Later on, he launched the official website of the company www.rakpharma.com
